When will Project Texas be fully operational?

Today, many of the major components of Project Texas are already operational: USDS has been incorporated, and as of March 23, 2023, over 1,400 people have been moved into this new entity.

• Today, 100% of U.S. Traffic is routed to the Oracle Cloud. USDS exclusively controls all access to U.S. user data in that environment.

• We have begun the process of setting up controlled gateways for all data coming into the environment and all data going out. These gateways are currently monitored by TikTok U.S. Data Security (USDS), and they will soon be monitored by Oracle.

• Oracle has begun inspecting TikTok’s source code in our first Dedicated Transparency Center.

• We will be bringing more parts of the initiative online in the coming weeks and months.
